Itinerary:

  • PANAFEST is a celebration, with music, dancing, drumming, traditional cultural displays, beach parties and memories you will not forget! In addition to participating in exciting PANAFEST activities, the tour will also visit cities and towns in three different regions of Ghana so tour members get the chance to see some of the most interesting sites in Ghana.
  • We will visit the slave dungeons and other historical sites; we will explore Ghana’s villages and glimpse ways of life that have changed little over the centuries. We will see Ghana’s most vibrant cities; and relax on some of the most beautiful beaches in the country.
  • Tour members will also participate in a traditional naming ceremony where they will be received by village chiefs and elders who will welcome them into their African “family;” and after a traditional ceremony with dancing and celebration, give them the names they would have been given if they had been born into these adopted families.
  • This tour includes accommodation at 3 Star hotels; breakfast daily; a Welcome Dinner with Cultural Performances; a Departure Dinner with Cultural Performances; five (5) other meals (lunch/dinner); air-conditioned tour bus; English speaking, knowledgeable tour guide; admission fees for all tourist sites visited and gratuities for tourist site guides; and so much more!
